Since Shelby moved to Rexburg, her and I have been trying to find a place to rent together. Our hopes of ever finding a place get crushed after every place we go to look at. Kinda depressing...but we know we will get one eventually. Some stories from our apartment shopping experiences, I just pray they don't get any worse!
1.) This one lady wanted us to live with her and she talked to us for half an hour than told us at the very end that it most likely wouldn't work out because a girl is planning on living with her. (Couldn't she tell us that at the very beginning...or when we called!) The worse part about it was she gave us a curfew of 10 PM. I'm 19, I stayed out later than that when I was in 8th grade! But she did bump it up to mid-night on Friday nights.
2.) Cute cottage - we drive 15 minutes out of Rexburg to find out it is more of a shed! The people were super nice though.
3.) We checked out a trailer in a trailer park. The renter pretty much told us we could apply but we wouldn't get it!
4.) My neighbor is a landlord so we went to talk to him. He manages married apartments, but we figured he would know other landlords. He wasn't home but his wife was. She looks at us and said, "are you guys married?" Shelby said, "No, we are sisters." my neighbor started laughing and said, "I meant are you married to a guy and are you married to a guy?" It was pretty funny!
The list can go on, but seriously it is so hard finding a place to live here. Some apartments have over 300 applications that have been turned in! I'm almost ready to give up!!!

Trying to Become Crafty
Trying...that's the main word here! Lately, I have been in the crafty mood....which is weird for me! A couple weekends ago, I went home and I went shopping with Kali. I decided to buy some fabric to make my own adult baby blanket. (Baby blankets are always so soft, and I don't know where they sell adult size ones.) I deicided I couldn't have a blanket without matching pillows! I still need to make two more pillow cases.
Since I just bought a new car, I wanted to make a cute lanyard for my keys. I hate the neck lanyards because they always get in my way, so I made a mini one!!
I have to thank my mom for helping me! She was so patient and was a good teacher...Maybe my next project I will do by myself!

Why I love my Neighborhood
The neighborhood I live in is so great. I love it. Everyone is really kind and so helpful. I always get the neighborhood kids knocking on the door to come buy lemonade from their lemonade stand, and how can I say no to them! (Even if they are selling gross grape juice!) Today a group of kids came knocking and asked if there was any chores they could do for me....FOR FREE! They just wanted to stop by and say hi and to see if I needed any help! I already have the house clean so I couldn't think of anything. It is great to know that kids at such a young age want to help others out!

4th of July!
BYU-I only gives the students the 4th off, so it makes it hard for us college kids to come home party for one day and travel back to Rexburg to go back to school or work the next morning. My parents decided to hold the party on Saturday this year. I had today off so I decided it would be my catch up day for cleaning, mowing, laundry, and homework that way I don't have to worry about it this weekend.
This is what most of my day consisted of...I just really hope all this studying pays off! But I have gotten a lot done and I am SOOO excited for this weekend!
I can't wait to see my family and friends and celebrate this great country we live in. Happy birthday America!!!!

The Start Of My Blog!
My good friend, Hannah, convinced me to start blogging. I always have wanted too but I feel like I will start it and never post anything...but I am going to try! I will post about fun things in my life and hopefully it will be interesting to you! Right now I am attending BYU-I and I have been taking night classes. I work in the mornings and afternoons. I love my job! I am a secretary for a landscaping business. I have learned so much and I continue to do so each and every day.
Oh before I forget, the title of my blog is true! My family calls me cinderella because I clean so much! It is one of my favorite things to do!!
